All trademarks, character names, card names, set names, logos, and related assets belong to their respective owners. Any references are used for identification and informational purposes.
Informational only
Content and market values are provided "as-is" for convenience. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal, or professional advice.
Prices can be wrong
Pricing and availability can change quickly and may vary by marketplace, region, condition, and timing. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.
No warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PokéValutor disclaims all warranties (express or implied), including accuracy, reliability, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose.
You are responsible for verifying information before buying, selling, trading, or acting on it.
Privacy
PokéValutor can be used without an account, but account features use Firebase services. By default, recent activity is still stored in your browser using local storage.
Local storage
Some app state (such as recent browsing and local tracker data) is saved in your browser so it persists between visits. This data stays on your device unless your browser sync settings copy it elsewhere.
Firebase Authentication
If you sign in, authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication (Google sign-in or email/password). Firebase and Google may process account data such as your UID, email address, sign-in provider, IP address, and security logs.
Cloud Firestore sync
When signed in, your watchlist/favorites and Dex tracker state are synced to Cloud Firestore under your account UID so your data can persist across devices. Firestore access for your account records is governed by Firebase Security Rules and limited to your signed-in account, except when you explicitly enable a shared read-only collection link (described below).
Shared collection links
If you enable read-only sharing on the Account page, the app generates a random share token and publishes a read-only snapshot of your Dex collection for that link. Anyone with the link can view shared cards, conditions, and copy counts, but cannot edit your data. You can disable sharing at any time to turn link access off.
Stripe billing
If you subscribe to Premium or open billing management, checkout and billing portal flows are handled by Stripe through secure Firebase Functions. Stripe may process payment and billing information directly (such as card details, billing profile, subscription status, invoices, and payment events), and the app stores minimal billing linkage data needed to map your Firebase account to subscription state. See Stripe Privacy Policy and Stripe Legal Terms.
Network requests
When you search, your browser makes requests to the PokéValutor API endpoint (a Cloudflare Worker) which proxies requests to a third-party Pokémon data provider. Those services may receive standard request metadata such as IP address, user agent, and timestamps.
Card scanner (AI identification)
When you use the card scanner feature, captured image frames from your camera are sent to the PokéValutor Worker, which forwards them to CardSight AI for card identification (name, set, number). CardSight AI may process, analyze, and log submitted image data in accordance with their own policies. Do not submit images containing sensitive or personal information. Scanner use is optional and requires explicit camera permission from your browser.
Redis caching
To improve performance and reduce repeated upstream requests, the Worker may cache selected API responses in Upstash Redis for limited time windows. Cache entries are temporary and primarily keyed by request context (for example endpoint/query and quota keys).
Contact form
If you use the Contact page, the information you submit (name, email, message) is sent to Formspree to deliver your message. Use the form only for content you are comfortable sharing.
Third-party services used by this site (for example Firebase, Stripe, CardSight AI, hosting/CDN, fonts, contact form processing, and data providers) may have their own privacy practices. Review their policies for service-specific details.
Your choices: you can remove watchlist/tracker items with in-app controls, clear browser storage in your browser settings, and stop future cloud sync by signing out. Deleting your account in Firebase Authentication removes sign-in access, but data cleanup timing depends on Firebase processing and any configured retention.
Delete my account/data:
1. Sign in on the Account page and use the Delete account button. You will be asked to confirm by typing DELETE.
2. The app attempts to remove your user-scoped Firestore data (watchlist/tracker and shared snapshot data under your account scope), then deletes your Firebase Authentication account.
3. If you used Stripe billing, certain billing-related records (for example Stripe customer/subscription history, invoices, charge records, and minimal internal billing linkage logs) may be retained by Stripe or backend systems for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and accounting purposes.
4. If Firebase requires a recent login, sign in again and retry. If you still need help, contact us via Contact.
Terms
By using PokéValutor, you agree to use the site responsibly and lawfully. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Permitted use
You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes such as researching cards/sealed products and managing your own watchlist/tracker data.
Account responsibility
If you create or use an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for activity that occurs under your account. Use accurate information and comply with the terms of any sign-in provider you choose (for example, Google).
Subscriptions and billing
Premium subscriptions are billed by Stripe. By starting or managing a subscription, you agree to Stripe's checkout and billing portal flows, recurring charges until canceled, and Stripe's applicable terms/policies. Review Stripe Legal Terms and Stripe Privacy Policy. Subscription state changes (active, past due, canceled, etc.) may affect your premium access level in PokéValutor.
Prohibited use
Do not abuse the service or attempt to disrupt it (e.g., automated scraping, excessive requests, bypassing rate limits, attempting unauthorized access to Firebase resources, reverse engineering protected endpoints, or using the site to harass others).
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PokéValutor is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any losses arising from use of (or inability to use) the site, including reliance on pricing data.
PokéValutor may change or discontinue features (including Firebase-backed features) at any time, and may update these terms. Continued use after updates means you accept the changes.
Accessibility
PokéValutor aims to be usable for as many people as possible, including users who rely on keyboards, screen readers, and other assistive technologies.
Ongoing improvements
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. Layouts, labels, focus states, and contrast may be improved over time as issues are identified.
Report an issue
If something is hard to use (keyboard navigation, contrast, screen readers, etc.), please reach out via the Contact page with details about what you were trying to do and what device/browser you're using.
Workarounds
Use the "Skip to content" link at the top of each page, and the "Scroll to top" button on Cards/Sealed pages, to navigate more quickly.
